Good problem - bad timing, capital gains and taxes

My SO did FIRE but has some income that has her in the 15% tax bracket.

This year she sold a condo owned 20 years and had a capital gain of 120k - too bad she rented 3.5 years out of the last 5. This would become income?

Other coincidence is owning Yahoo and with Alibaba sale expecting 50k long term capital gain.

Any advice on how this may be approached... wait out stock sale till 2015?
