Here we go, House is now being shown

Yes we finally got this house on the market. here in NewJersey
yesterday and bingo calls from realtors are a commin . We have showings for today heck in fact I gotta get movin I think they are showing the place at noon.

Anyway, We are the 8th home in a 200+ home development and we are priced 10 grand lower than the rest, hey not tooting my own horn but this place, yes it is now called a place looks better than all of the higher priced homes in the development. I have divested myself of the house emotionally, I am now in the This IS AN INVESTMENT mode, and I will do everything to get it sold as quickly as possible.

We are staging the place, it really looks fantastic this morning, anyone want to buy a center hall colonial on 1/2 acre with lots of room mature landscaping new hot water heater, micrware, kitchen sink faucet etc etc etc?

Once the house sells we are going to the raleigh area of NC and start a new chapter. I will probably stay up here until jan or march of 2007 and get another year done with the teaching job and use a bunch of my accum sick days, I do need some arthroscopic knee surgery so hummm, maybe I get the knee worked on in say october and stay out on sick leave until jan? Is it ethical though??
Then again part of the injury was while I was working in my gym class spotting a student a few years ago.

Anyway cross your fingers, lets get this place SOLD!

Hope you had the same remarkable luck I had recently selling my house at a price that appeared to be above market value with no realtor comm.

Do you think you had to price the house $10K below market to get it to move quickly? (As opposed to say $2K or $3K).

Just curious. Maybe the prices in your neighborhood are so high that $10K is equivalent to $2K in my old neighborhood (LOL!).
