HNWI Rich got richer in 2017, Wealth of mln surges +10%

https://www.usatoday.com/story/money...cks/711875002/

'The number of high net worth individuals (HNWI) — which Capgemini defines as those having investable assets of $1 million or more (excluding primary residence, collectibles, consumables and consumer durables) — grew almost 10 percent, or 1.6 million, to 18.1 million in 2017. '

A couple other interesting facts, the sampling:

'The report researches trends among the wealthy through market research, data analysis and a survey of more than 2,600 HNWIs across 19 countries. '
The fact that US Millionaire's grew by 10%.
And I thought it was interesting about the blurb on Crypto at the end.
The Ultra HNW saw a 12% gain last year and accounted for 35% of all HNWI.
And the idea that China will soon be in the third slot behind Japan. Asian nations are making a move but if you look at the concentration Asia Pacific is already leading all other world regions.
In the past 9 years the amount of millionaire's total wealth has doubled.
