International/EM is getting creamed! But that's all right, I can ride the roller coaster. Besides, I'm still accumulating for a few more months so it's great!

My biggest problem is staying disciplined enough to not put too much money in without regard for my "bucket" plan.

Even with all that said it is kind of gut wrenching sometimes, ain't it?

Hmmm, I wonder what's in Ziggy's portfolio to trigger any further downturns

I had a bad connection. Probably because I wasn't wearing my Dickies coveralls.

Those with less than two years on the board (or less than two decades' investing experience) could search previous threads for the keywords "sky", "falling", "doom", "gloom", and "Chicken Little"-- where these sentiments have all been thoroughly beaten to death.

Shhh...I said oil and gold were going down and they did. I said the dollar would go up and it did. Just go with it.

That should bring order back to things.
Can't speak for Canada, but stock values started down when Obamafication started to be a likelihood. Doubt that making that strong possibility into an established reality is going to send them back up again. Jimme Carter didn't do much for stocks either.

Aw, C'mon, Rich. Even I thought it was funny. I bet his wife would have laughed at it, too.

Aww, does this mean I'm off your ignore list now?

Someone always complains about everything...

And yeah, my wife would have howled at the 30-45 days. Nowhere near that often...

Can't we all just sing some songs about bacon and how often we're getting it? The bacon, I mean.

W2R,

You seem to have become a lot more immune to market ups and downs in the last year or two!

Yep! It's definitely painful to witness these declines, but the markets will eventually recover in days/months/years/decades.
