Good for him. I am sure he wouldn't have too much trouble picking up some part time work if his nest egg was getting low

Is it any wonder early retirees generally avoid advertising the fact? It doesn't matter if you worked hard, lived very frugally, invested wisely and plan to live like a student. Someone is bound to resent it.
