Insider stock purchases highest in four years

Looks like the Financial Services Insiders see a bargain

Insider stock purchases highest in four years: Financial News - Yahoo! Finance

I am fairly conservative and buy long-term broadly diversified.

But for you contrarians that still look for bargains... Is this a good time to drop some money into a Fin Services sector fund or ETF? Perhaps 2-5% of the portfolio?

I think you could do a lot worse than buying KRE, a regional banking ETF. Insiders have been buying a ton of stock at banks because they just had most of their undisciplined competition vaporized.

Any good websites that let you easily search on insider activities?

Yahoo finance list insider transactions and stock ownership.

I am pretty sure they have to be reported to the SEC.

OF course, there are probably better sources.
