MCO Financial phone calls..

I have a cell phone number known only to me and my lady friend. Yet, I recieved a phone call on the cell phone and was told it was given to them by a family member

I refused to answer their questions but it does worry me.

OAP,
did they know your name? or were trying to fish info from you?
Anybody can call the number, and some companies are just dialing numbers sequentially.

I don't own a cell phone but if you call someone other than your friend, won't your phone# be saved on their cell phone?
