Twenty years - jobshop tool designer(Catia) - no pension, four ex wives - made double or more what I did - lived large while he made it - Walmart plus cab driver - lives in a trailer park down the road - in his current wifes trailer.

I want to ask those old guys (no offense to those applicable) what they were when they were younger.
The question's not worth the asking-- they've had lots of time in those Wal-Mart doorways to think up a pat answer.

My FIL knew a "retired" co-worker, age 71, who took a job helping to pour asphalt driveways during a Washington DC summer. His answer was "I wanted to see if I could still do it." Uh-huh.
