MOST DIVERSE ETF MIX

if you were putting an all etf diversified mix together for a 60/40 proportion what would you use?........having followed a newsletter very successfully for 20 years im thinking of starting to put together an all etf diversified mix to start tracking that can hold a candle to my actively managed mix in performance but at a lower cost....i havent been able to hit a combo that can do it as far back as i could back test on my own so im looking for ideas......i would love to eventually cut my .89 average expense level down to 1/2 without sacraficing performance..since im 100% at fidelity i dont want to move to vanguard so id rather use etf's.....

heres my last 10 years

Re: MOST DIVERSE ETF MIX

One can complicate things as much as wanted but a great starting ETF portfolio would be:
VTI+EFA+VWO for equities and AGG+TIP+GIM(foreign closed end unhedged bond fund) for bonds.
One can then consider adding the small cap/value twist.
You already own some commodities which I would add too. Cheers!
