Our tax situation is about to change significantly, as I start SS this year, DW starts hers next year, and I have to start taking RMDs next year. And we still have our (small) pensions and the usual investment income.

I can't find a calculator/estimator that essentially mimics a Form 1040 with all the inputs & that reflects the new tax laws.

Any suggestions? Free is good.

Tax caster? Estimates only.
Last time I used it, it also estimated 2018 taxes based on new tax laws.

Holy cow, we'll get a slight cut this year (TY2018) but our tax bill next year when everything kicks in will be 5-6 times what it was for TY2017!

I like the Dinkytown 1040 calculator.

Hey my neck of the woods, Dinkytown! Nice little college town in MN...I actually new the guys that invented this calculator waaay back int he day.

I am actually astonished thus guy is still at it. I met him back in like 1998 or 1999 when I was shopping around at a DinkyTown computer store.

And i just checked out the calculator for 2018 and it looks solid.
