When figuring my net worth, do I include the value of my defined pension ?
If so, would it be the amount I would have to spend for an annuity in order to get paid the amount I receive each month ?

Given the forum emphasis, and the fact that many seem to dance around the "magic million" in net worth goal, I would say yes.* Folks here either talk in terms of income streams, or piles of booty stashed away.* It's merely a matter of converting to the local currency.* This poll emphasizes booty.
You will not have to perform the conversion to participate in the upcoming DanTien yearly income poll.* Then the 1M in the bank folks will have to do the conversion.
