I couldn't resist the title. Especially after reading the FAQ.

But instead, I want to thank the board for the following FAQ:

I just spent the last couple hours of my life - over the last day or so - reading and digesting the info on these threads. For anyone else contemplating paying off the mortgage, these threads are very insightful (even though a bit redundant after awhile).

I've been trying to figure out how I want to manage our debt and the info on the threads was helpful. I now have a better idea of how I plan to proceed in our case.

Now this thread should be locked...
