Portfolio allocation calculator

I just ran a search on the board and found no listing for this. A very interesting portfolio allocation calculator tool at:

I am not sure of the validity of it's calculations but it does reference 4 common allocation models and allows some customization. Anyone have any backround on this?

Curious as to thoughts of the group.

I'm trying to find myself.* Have you seen me anywhere today?

Re: Portfolio allocation calculator

Hi Mysto, thanks for the link. That site has a great user interface, but I wish they provided more information about how the selections are made. It's nice that you can set the risk tolerance and optional asset classes. Their fund selections are also good - I'd probably pick the same funds. However, without knowing why the suggested allocations are what they are, I can't put much weight on their recommendations.

It's certainly interesting though.

Thanks for the link. Their fund selections are mostly either ETF or index, and their allocation seems reasonable.
May we live in peace and harmony and be free from all human sufferings.
