Quick question about FDIC

If my husband and I both have accounts at PenFed, are we both insured individually up to the FDIC limit?

PenFed is a Credit Union and doesn't fall under FDIC coverage. Credit unions (with some exceptions) are covered by NCUA insurance. You can use this link to see how you may be protected. NCUA: Welcome to the NCUA Share Insurance Information

Numbers is hard.

Retired in 2005 at age 58, no pension
