Rethinking my AA

Until recently, I have been a loyal fan of American Airlines. I flew Southwest a few times recently and like it better. Bags fly free and they allow you to reschedule flights. I estimate that SW rescheduling saved me 3-4%. I tried Frontier Airlines once but was extremely disappointed.

So, I conclude that … I am going to rethink my AA; conservatively plan for a 3% SWR moving forward; and never use a FA again.

From reading FIRE posts, I know many of you have already come to these conclusions, but I suppose everyone must learn from their own experiences. Reading future threads will now make so much more sense to me.

Yup. That's me. I tell people that I am a slow learner; it took me 30 years of investing before I figured out that no one in the investing business knows anything useful and the people making forecasts are the worst.
