Retirement Logic Diagram

Interesting logic diagram from Caniretireyet.com.

Has one make retirement decision based on "essential" expenses alone, using 3% WR. I expect there's an embedded assumption that "discretionary" expenses would be up to another 1%. Also has one use ability to return to work, if financially necessary, to help make ER and annuitization decisions. Pretty simple but, that's good; plus, I love diagrams.

If your investment withdrawals should go over the diagram's <3% safe withdrawal rate threshold (warning signs) - takes you to (1) going back to work, or (2) buying annuities. Annuity salespeople must love this diagram.
