Chasing the winners = 9.55%
(Investing in previous
year's best performing asset class)

Chasing the losers = 8.12%
(Investing in previous year's worst performing asset class)

Allocating among asset classes = 10.65%
(Investing evenly across asset classes)

It's nice to see such an objective & scientific study (covering such a large population group over such a long timespan) sponsored by an unbiased research firm.

Or at least it would be nice to see that.
