Yep, Mr. "Buckets of Money" has (at least temporarily) had his fraud conviction "wiped off the books".
The SCOTUS decision has nothing to do with the details of the case, rather they determined that the judge himself had not been properly installed. It was ruled that all Administrative Law Judges are "officers" and are therefore subject to being appointed by higher levels of the government, rather than the civil-service way they had been.
All the SEC judges, including Lucia's, have now been properly appointed. However, SCOTUS specifically prohibited Lucia's from hearing his case again, should it be re-tried.
