? secondary annuity market

I found a couple old threads related to these, but didn't seem many had ventured this route at the time. Wondering if now anyone has any experience with these. They are sold through immediate annuities.com which generally seems like a valuable website? I appreciate the loss of liquidity risk as well as inflation risk. But, they still seem like a reasonable option for a very low allocation of assets (5-10%?) to bridge a "floor" income from early retirement to social security with much better rates than either CD's or traditional SPIA's (or bonds for that matter)...

Thoughts?

I was looking at these a couple years ago myself but doing some research saw an article on how the market for them is stacked against individual investor and one article on how many investors never even end up being able to collect. ( can't seem to find that one now.)

Kitces has a primer on them:
