I was looking at their website this morning and they had some interesting looking cd rates. Has anyone dealt with them before and what would it take to join. let me know what you think. thanks

I've been a SSFCU member for so long I can't recall when I joined - probably back in the 70's when I was in the military.

Under the Sevices & Info tab on their website you'll see ways to join. Looks like you have to be a TX, UT, or CO resident, but I didn't dig deep so there may be other ways.

When we resided in Texas we were members, and like REW, we were 100% pleased with their offerings and service.
