Newguy,

Congratulations on your upcoming retirement. I don't think you will regret your decision. Remember no one ever said on their death bed " I wish I had spent more time at the office."

Were you still working in NJ after buying in NC. If so did/do you rent temporarily in NJ?

I am staying in NJ with my sister and friends. even some time in NYC with my daughter and Boston on weekends with my son.

So the finance of the living situation is well minimal. I am painting my sisters inside of her house 3 rooms while I am there.

What a wonderful opportunity to become closer to your significant others--or drive each other crazy, as the case may be

I am like wallpaper.

I am not in the house much sister is working real long hours my brother in law has been renovating a house and will be working there like crazy until it starts to snow in december so I pretty much have a nice set up for the next 4 months.

Mucho tequilla will help also.

Man I am pumped. I kinda wish we started this already. It is 16 weeks till I am done and during those 16 weeks 3 of them are no work weeks. I am taking one 5 day week off in october with sick days we have a week off in november and I will take the entire thanksgiving week off. 4 weeks from then is dec 22 and school is then out and I am done!

My wife has decided that she wants nothing to do with relatives and grown children this holiday season, so we are heading to go sking on Dec 23 for the week. Then home to NC right before new years!

KOOL!
