Tax Software for 2004 thru 2006

I need to prepare some prior year tax returns for friend - starting in 2004. Is anyone aware of where I can get free tax software for prior years/ I had the Taxcut software but lost it when computer crashed - doesn't have to be Taxcut - would prefer it though. Thanks

Tax Act has 07 and 06 returns for free. Years 00-05 have a fee for each year ($12.95 for each year - State returns, if required, cost additional for 00-05). Just do a search for the year you want in the site search box. File Taxes Online - Do Taxes FREE - File Taxes With TaxACT.

I had been saving my old TaxCut CDs, but just looked and I must have tossed them. Maybe some other pack rat still has them to share.
Yes, I have achieved work / life balance.
