Great cartoon.
I receive a lot of frequent coupons, in snail mail as well as email, for clothing stores because when I do very rare clothes shopping, I shop primarily online.
I just throw them out or pass them on to my "adopted brother". He shops for clothing with his wife a lot, plus they have 2 granddaughters.
I tease him about his frequent shopping habits with "Better that your wallet gets emptier than mine."

That is so much more accurate than this slogan:

"The more you spend, the more you save!"

An old friend from the former Czechoslovakia used to call his way of buying everything "the Bohemian payment plan"--100 percent down, no easy payments.

Shoot, I can do better than 100%. By not bothering with going shopping, save on gas, wear, tear. Ergo more than 100% saved.
If one is still working, consider the time value of hourly rate at time and half, now we're talking real money saved.

Nope! Not here!
I earned it, I saved it, I have it, and I am going to enjoy spending it! Oops, that may be DW that stole my password.
