The Lottery For A Retirement System?

I never realized that a lotto had actually been tried to encourage saving: FT.com / Comment - Chance can be a better way to save

Don't know if it would work but I would send a few bucks that way, just for diversification, of course

Ever wonder why it is against the law for anyone to run a lottery.... other than the govt!

the Freakonomics Radio show did a podcast on Michigan CUs that were legally running a similar savings/lotto program. Until the state decided they were taking in too much money and sued them.
