Third Party Preferred Stock

Does anyone dabble in these for income? If so, do you you have any recommendations?
And do you hold mostly in nontaxable accounts?

Re: Third Party Preferred Stock

Never done third party, just the regular straight up preferred thing. As I understand it, third party preferred dividends are not qualified (no 15% tax rate), so you wouldn't want to holdit in a taxable account. www.quantumonline.com is an excellent resource for researching all kinds of income investments.
