Training courses and Lifetime Learning Credit for 2017 Taxes

I have taken several courses from Certstaff training center last year and paid a total of $2500. Can I claim them as LLC? I have all the receipts and certifications. I spoke with my accountant and he said I need 1098-T. Called training company and I am getting bumped around and not getting anywhere - they dont even know what 1098-T is and keeps passing my call from people to people. Is there any other way to claim LLC without 1098-T?

If the school does not provide a 1098T, I suspect that the school may not be an eligible education institution, ie , a school that does not particiapte in the federal loan programs. Thanks RE2 and Jerry. I do not see Certsttafix in the list you posted. I see a link to download W-9 but not sure if it would help.
