TSX on the upswing?

As some of you know, I'm not very verst in the market, so I'm wondering what the heck is going on with Toronto Stock Exchange? It's been going up for several days now, and I don't know if it's ever been this high before. I just hope I didn't jinx anything by starting this post. Presently it's at

Re: TSX on the upswing?

Momentum still remains in commodity and financial stocks in particular. It is a bet on the O&G sector continuing to shine and manufacturing not being hit too much harder, i.e. soft landing in US economy.

Also fueled by Cdn investors pouring in large amounts of money into Cdn equity mutual funds in November...performance chasers. I personally don't get it and am not building any new positions at this point. It feels expensive. Indeed, I've taken some profits here and there.
