Vanguard managed payout funds

[Quantum Sufficit]

Have any members on the board given consideration to these as a decumulation strategy, particularly the middle of the road "growth and distribution focus" fund? Most of my nest egg is in after tax (about 90%) of 2M. I hope to fire in about 3 y. Any input appreciated. I have a meeting set up with vanguard on Friday to discuss these.

I don't own any, but it's a viable option if you want a mostly hands-off approach. Not to discourage additional discussion, but just in case you haven't read previous threads (links below). It appears it's simply made up of other Vanguard funds (that you could own directly) as you may know. Best of luck...
