We could be nearing a bottom.

I feel my bottom sitting here watching. I put my plan in to action about three weeks ago and hope I get the call soon to go back to work. Bottom for me looks like a 28% reduction in equities this year on a 70/30 split. I am confident I have the time and cash to watch it comeback in the next 6 years. I am shooting for CEO type pay of $80K for the first hour of work.

A bottom, or are we stepping off a precipice into the yawning abyss!

Probably not. I shouldn't have even watched Cramer for entertainment last weekend, though.

The VIX forced me to make another day trade. I made a 3% profit in 4 mins this time. I think it was 4% in 8 mins last time.

I tried to make a day trade - ran out of 'day'.

Nords, thanks for the link to Investopedia! It answered three of my more recent pressing questions, and spared the boards here more evidence of my ignorance...
