2006 Equinox

This hot 50 something year old chick talked me out of my 94 250 thousand mile little GMC Sonoma - WITH rusty fender. She had a really well fulled out pair of bib overalls.

Just kidding - sorta. Anyway doesn't count - sitting in limbo with a blow head gasket/possibly warped block.

heh heh heh - Dogs are more loyal - thinking of used van to take them down to the Ozarks this summer. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :nonono: :greetings10:.

1980 Toyota Corolla.

I bought it used in 1985. In several months, I will have owned it for more than half my life.

Toyota Sienna 2000 -- Bought it 10yrs back
Toyota Camry 2002 ---Bought it 7yrs back
Toyota Avalon 2003 ---Bought it 2yrs back

Toyota Man I am

2010 Toyota Camry
2010 Mazda Miata

Bought them both in the past month to replace a 9-year old VW with reliability issues and a 13-year old Mazda in excellent condition, but DW wanted something new...

1 car, a 2007 Toyota Corolla (not one which got recalled, thankfully). I bought it 3 years ago this month.

Before that, I owned a 1991 Geo Prism (basically a Corolla) from 1992-2007.

95 Chevy 4x4 pick up (for haulin' stuff)
96 Ford conversion van (for long road trips)
07 Chevy Trailblazer (primary vehicle)

We live in the boonies where the snowplows come after all the main roads are plowed. For us, its often a choice between four wheel drive and being stranded in the winter. :(

1997 Mazda Miata DWs car
1998 Jeep Cherokee DSs vehicle
2006 Jeep Liberty diesel mine mostly, except for when DW wants it.

2007 Yaris
2005 Avalon

Bought both new.
Love them both, recall and all.....

88 Jag. XJ6 210 Kmiles
99 GMC Suburban, 98 Kmiles
78 Honda 400, MC Who knows
95 Buick --- DW's 45 Kmiles.

average age is 8 years

2008 Honda Civic Hybrid
2001 BMW Z3
1997 Honda Accord

the '08 replaced a '93 Accord. Prior to that, average age was 11 years.

2 weeks ago we sold 1 of our 2 cars, so the average age just went down from 6 to 3. For a bonus point, what was the age of the car we just sold?
For the kept car, the difference in age and this year (2010) is 3 years, or 2007 is the year of the car kept.
Year of the car sold was 2001, so the age of the car was 9 yrs old.
Do I get a prize?
Or do I get a dunce cap ?

We have 2 cars. Altima 4 years old (very reliable, good gas mileage, runs pretty smooth, no real complaints, vanilla with a capital V).

and..........we have an 88 Camaro convertible with 177K miles that makes weird noises, runs well, no complaints and fun with a capital F.

avg is about 13 years

2005 chevy truck
2000 Porsche
1973 Porsche
1971 Porsche

23 years, but I'm thinking of buying a new truck.

My cars are newer............kinda happened without planning..........

Spot on - well done

97 Miata, 04 Honda Pilot. Whenever I think about replacing them, I don't see a lot I'd gain. I'd like a hard top convertible, and an AWD that gets getting MPG, but not enough to pay a lot for the upgrade. And, I just put some dents in a door of the Pilot sliding on my driveway into a snowbank in that December snow, which may be dwarfed by this weekend's snow. (I'm actually away for this snow but will have to deal it when I come back on Monday. And it does justify my having a good AWD SUV.)

- 2002 Olds Auroa (one-owner, used). Traded in an '89 Olds Ciera, which we purchased new and had for 18 years.

- 2002 Mustang GT convertable (purchased new). 17k on the odometer. My "sunday" car (sun has to be out, or the car does not leave the garage).

- 2005 Cadillac SRX (one-owner, used; purchased via EBay  ). Yes, I would buy through Ebay Motors, again. This one was through a dealer who received it off-lease and was Cadillac certified.

Average age for all three: 7 years.
