Any thoughts? Where's the sector rotation going?

Just a thought: the market rebounds 27%, on average, before corporate earnings rebound. If you look for deep value plays, that rebound can be quite a bit bigger.

Anyhow, aerospace could hold some real value. Might be a good place to rebalance some hot commodities money, if oil/precious metals resume their correction. The market always looks ahead, and the rebound could be enormous.

I don't think the market wants to see me get out of my position in oil. I've done such a good job in tanking it over 11% already...

Pssst - America. Lead by the slow struggle of the dollar back to more better.

Shockey traded to the Saints! Yikes - the Saint's and tight ends have a long and storied history. Notice I said storied not glorious.

heh heh heh - Actually I haven't a clue. :D.

Sorry to hijack for a second, but it's not like this thread is going anywhere. Just read up about Shockey going to the Saints, they finally have a fast enough TE to be able to block farther outside/downfield for Bush, as well as a legitimate another option for Drew Brees. But, then again, NFC South is not necessarily known for being a dominant division.

I'm taking futures on if god ever replies to a thread he's started.

You gotta give me pretty good odds and I might take it, is sending a PM off-limits?

Edit: God often acts in mysterious ways.

All fine and well, so long as he can keep his mouth shut long enough to play.

The next hot sector? Porn.........

They say that small cap stocks precede an economic recovery. You may want to troll for bargains in that range. Otherwise, I'd look into companies that deal in battery technology.

Duh, let me check my current issue of Money or Fortune (or any of the other trash).

No, better yet, let me turn on CNBC to get "the facts :D "...

Nuclear power plant construction.

Somewhere along the line as gas keeps jumping a buck a gallon per year, most folks will finally figure out that a few hundred pounds of spent fuel dropped into a 5 mile deep hole in the ground is better than 3 brazillion tons of recycled batteries full of lead, cadmium, lithium and other fine metals.

Or those guys with that fast charge capacitor system for cars that allegedly works.

Sorta agree - but my nuke ute(EXC) the old Commonwealth Ed of Chi town is running away from the S&P the last 5 yrs and sports a PE north of 21 or so.

Cat out of the bag?

Played with the opposite - fast capacitor discharge system to bang titanium rivets on the never built American SST in 67. That was fun. Don't know if they still mag hammer oil cans out of Space Shuttle fuel tanks.

Progress. I understand it's considered easier to add capacity to existing nuke plants than try to green field a new facility - hence the high PE??

heh heh heh -

Yeah, NIMBY is a big problem right now.

We'll see how it goes when gas is 7.50 a gallon and even the 40mpg hybrid people paid $5k over sticker for this year is expensive to drive.

Or after a million people pay up for an electric car, plug it in and then get either a $500 electric bill at the end of the month or have all the lights in the state go out for a couple of hours a day...

Solar might have its day, but if it should ever become cost effective for the average joe the competition will probably wipe out most of the profitability.

But if its nukes...someones gonna have to design and build them, supply parts, mine and refine the fuel, etc.

Oldie but a goodie?
