Getting a .com is so cheap that lowest price is not a big deal. I got a .com from register.com
networksolutions.com is another place.
You can google up "doman registration" and find that you can get a domain registration for about $10 a year.
(zuki.com is already taken)

Seems to me that GoDaddy always has a sale going.
I found that after registering a site with them for a 'business concept' that I was considering, we started getting TONS of unwanted junk-mail, spam email, phone solicitations, etc..
I would consider a more reputable registrar, GoDaddy is only in the business to harvest sales lists!

I also registered a domain with GoDaddy but haven't received a single piece of spam. <shrug> (Unlike ebay and paypal who send me spam every 2 days).

Re: who sells dot coms for the lowest price ?
When I first read the title I thought it meant buying stock in "dot com" companies.
GoDaddy is apparently the cheap provider. I have a bad impression of them but don't remember why. I used Dotster.com because my sister and brother-in-law use it and I heard some other good things about them. Not the cheapest, though.
I paid a couple bucks extra for privacy service. Any mail or email goes to them, and they filter out the spam. None of the following publicly available info goes directly to me:
Code:
Registrant:
c/o BIGMONEYJIM.COM
P.O. Box 821650

US
Registrar: DOTSTER
Domain Name: BIGMONEYJIM.COM

By the way, avoid looking for available domains, then thinking about it and coming back to buy it later. There are people who watch lookup requests and buy the names to resell it to you for a markup. I don't think Dotster had that problem, but I bought my domain names right after finding what was available.

They picked up a little notoriety earlier this year for a SuperBowl commercial that was filled with wardrobe malfunctions. (Clearly some of you don't want to click on that link if you're using the office's network...)

You've just detected the primary reason why I suggested them. Well, the primary reason(s) I guess.
