Your auto- what you're driving now

I own one car, a 2007 Toyota Corolla CE. I have about 29,000 miles on the 9-year-old car and expect it to last me at least 6 more years. It is garaged indoors in a heated garage.

I drive a 2003 Toyota Camry. It's Desert Sand exterior and Taupe interior so it's kind of like beige on beige. Yes, a real show stopper! We bought it in 2005 and it had 32,000 miles on it and it now has 84,000 so we've driven 52,000 in 11 years.

This car is perfect for me, runs great and I'd keep it forever but I know it's now 13 years old and like all of us it's getting older all the time. In the next few years we will probably replace it with another Camry or something similar. We would shop for a 4-6 year old car with mileage under 50,000 or so.

When that happens DH will get my beloved Camry and we will sell his 2001 Corolla, which is also getting older all the time. Still drives fine.

At this point in our lives we don't really need 2 cars, but we have them already and the insurance is cheap enough. We loaned the Corolla to our son last summer for 3 months while he had terminal car issues (2009 Forester) and we managed fine on one car, but it was an effort.

My car: 2002 Acura TLS 173K, 4th transmission, paid for one :(

DW: 2014 Toyota 4Runner 23K

Just sold: 2000 Toyota Sienna at 170K miles

2015 Subaru Forester 55k miles is our daily driver. Bought new and was hoping we could get by with 10-12k miles a year on it but life happens!

2004 Nissan Titan 75k miles. Bought new and pretty much only use it tow the trailer and haul stuff.

2009 Hyundai Elantra 100k miles. Bought it used and our youngest son drives it. He moved out on his own last fall and he will be getting it in his name soon and we will be down to just the two cars then.

My old daily driver was a 2002 VWJetta TDI which my oldest son bought when I retired and it now has 325k miles on it and still going strong!

2012 Honda Fit. Bought used with about 10K miles. About 28K miles on odometer now.

Currently I have 8 "running" and licensed vehicles but really only a couple that I drive routinely. (I think I've listed them in previous threads) My primary and current favorite daily driver is a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT.

I have had 2 or more vehicles for just me since 18. Current fleet is 13 total including all my classic cars/hot rods and motorhome. I can't imagine how some of you get by with one car for two people. I can't even get by with one car for me!

But the OP's question was about normal daily drivers, between myself and wife we have the following:
1997 Ford Expedition 4x4, my usual DD: 183K
2008 Ford Edge awd, wife's DD: 135K
1988 Ford F-250 4x4 diesel: 133K
2006 Ford F-650 pickup: 52K

I do drive my classics also mixed in occasionally during the week to work when weather is nice and on weekends.

2007 Lincoln MKX. Nearest import dealer is 80 miles away.

I ride a Honda motorcycle, wife has 2003 Honda pilot with 185,000 miles --bought new still runs like new.

Every year we get a thread going about what we drive. Summer driving season is here. Thought I would start one for this year. Cars only. We can do a separate motorcycle or alt vehicle thread too...

1. 1966 mustang fully restored. 3 speed manual, 289, 2bbl 78K orig. had for 20 years and holding. Value keeps going up. View attachment 24160

<snip>

I absolutely love the mid 60's mustangs. I'd love to get one but it'd be so impractical for me because we don't have the garage space to store and work on one.

DW and I just share a Mazda CX-5 for now as we carpool and I work half the time from home. We also use a car sharing service for when we have the odd conflicts. I'm curious if we'd need to get a second car after I retire.

2016 Subaru Outback Limited (bought last December)
2016 GMC Canyon Crew Cab 4x4 (pickup up last Friday)

We were not planning on buying a new truck so soon after we bought the Outback (before that we had a 2005 truck and a 2008 car and bought the Outback to have more room for trips to Florida) but my mechanic told me that the frame on my 2005 truck was so rusted that it would not pass inspection so I decided to trade it in... I didn't want to stick someone with a problem by selling it. It was a shame too because other than the rusted frame it was running pretty good at 126k miles.

I was hoping to hold out for a new Honda Ridgeline but the rusted frame forced my hand to trade before I wanted to.

I drive a 2015 Lexus GS350 F Sport bought last Thanksgiving. 6,800 miles.
DW drives a 2012 Mercedes Benz C300 with about 42,000 on it.
Somewhere we also have a 2002 Ford Explorer that has been confiscated by the kids after they destroyed the Honda we gave them when DW bought her car. Not sure if it will be seen by bus again, but I sure could use it for some projects I want to do. They were supposed to be looking for their own car...that was in December.

Enjoying life!

We have a 2013 Subaru Impreza and a 2016 Honda Accord.

05 Dodge Dakota bought new. has 26k miles on it.

07 Infiniti G35 coupe, bought used in '11 with 26k on it. just approaching 40K miles.

These should last many more years

I drive a 2010 Mercedes ML 350 Bluetec Deisel - 59,000 miles. Scheduled to be replaced next December when the 7 year extended warranty runs out.
DH doesn't drive much so the above is our go to vehicle.

Second car is a Mercedes 2007 CLK 350 - Convertible- 60,000 miles. Fun car - not used in the winter. Don't expect to ever trade this little cutie! Looks like the new versions of this vehicle.

I must admit I love bells and whistles. We keep our cars a good long time so we pack our cars with all the luxury add-ons available rationalizing that the cost of the vehicle is averaged over many years. Looking forward to self parking, blind spot driver assist, lane correction, self braking and of course for our cold Northeastern winters, heated steering wheels and seats are always a must.

Same as last year:

'09 Infiniti G37 90K miles
'12 Toyota Highlander 40K'ish miles

I am seeing lots of high end cars here and that's a bit surprising to me.

No change...
