Yes, a number of states were major PO'd when the feds kept increasing the estate tax exemption. Many states that used to track the federal exemption no longer do so.

Makes sense to me.

Heh heh heh - single without a spouse - back in LA for non relatives estate taxes once upon a time started as low as 25k - yes folks that's $25,000.

Missouri is - more better.
