Aloha

Speaking of travel, DW and I just returned from Hawaii. It is still paradise, and I love the lifestyle, the trades blowing in keeping things cool, the ocean, the whole shebang. The only caveats are: (1) Traffic is horrendous. (2) Expensive. It’s been ten years since I’ve been there, and prices surprised me. (3) Too touristy, so I tried to stay away from Waikiki. There also seems to be too many people on Oahu. Oh, Nords, I did go to the Thai Kitchen, and you're correct, it was excellent and much cheaper than Keo's.

Went Space A on a Navy 737. Military Space Available still remains my favorite airline. Met several people who seem to make a career out of traveling space a and know how to make all the connections to say, Europe or Japan.

Re: Aloha

Next time try visiting some of the neighbor islands. Each has it's own character, and all are rural with less traffic than Oahu.

Re: Aloha

Thanks JB, I have been to all the islands, with exception of Molakai and the one that you cannot get on without an invitation. You are quite correct that they are less crowded. This was such a short trip, and we tried to just beach it. Went to Aloha stadium to the flea market; and did visit Wakiki the last nite there. We used to hang out at the North Shore, because daughter lived up there, so we did a day up there.

It had been 10 years since I got to Paradise, and I was just impressed about how much more traffic there was; not that it was any picnic then. No matter, I still love it. I shall return. Who said that?

Re: Aloha

Yeah, you're right. Truman showed him who was boss, rightly so!
