Anyone retire or plan to retire outside of USA?

For those of you who are not retired yet. What are your top 3 destinations for retirement and why?

For those of you who are already retired outside of USA. How do you like it out there? Do you miss USA?

Canada, because I live here
Ireland, because I was born there
France, because it has joie de vivre*

*Don't ask. Look it up.

For us it will probably be the following:

Australia - because being Australian we can take advantage of that wonderful socialized medicare system and not worry about going bankrupt due to rising health care costs.
France - because my husband has a British passport and who wouldn't want to live in France?
Vietnam - we hope to spend part of our time there, unlikely to be full time. We love the country and the people.

Mars :-)

This summer it is brutal here in central Texas. I hope it will be back to historical normal.

Hey, I wish a lot of things can be back to normal. Like the bond yield, like the stock market return.
