Canceled #12 of 40 post retirement home maintenance projects

Making some progress on years of differed maintenance. Started the "repaint the dingy master bath " project. Step one, thorough scrubbing of the walls. They look so good with cleaning, I'm only going to paint the doorjambs now.

Light , almost imperceptible dirt film gone, walls / ceiling look like new. The paint I used 20 years ago was really expensive, and now it is a bargain in hindsight. Might last as long as I do.

Wow. Congrats on your luck (and on doing the job right 20 years ago!). Based on some of my past experience, I would have started scrubbing the walls, broke though to find a water leak, and on and on . . .

You must have the paint we have in our living room! I keep putting painting this room on my list, but when I clean the wall, I realize it still looks pretty good.
