Had my exit interview this morning. I still have 2 more days in the office next week but the HR Manager is out next week. All the luncheons and dinners are done just a couple of short days left.... Almost there...

Wednesday will be my first official "don't have to go to wo*k day" and wouldn't you know there is a winter storm warning? Ahhhhhh. I'll enjoy not making that 20 mile drive through ice and snow.

I had an unusual delayed reaction to retiring. It was sort of a "what was I thinking?? I have abandoned my Pastor and church congregation!" I "was" a church secretary, so maybe I felt a bigger responsibility than need be. Anyway, the feeling passed in about 15 minutes ;-) and I'm still happy I won't be driving to wo*k in a blizzard tomorrow!
