Curt Gowdy dies
I can remember old Curt describing Joe Namath going back for a pass, in Super Bowl III, just like it was yesterday!* Takes me back to my childhood. Or was it my teen years?

Since we're reminiscing, do you remember Marlin Perkins? He was the old geezer on Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. I always enjoyed watching that on Sundays. Time flies, I read where NBC dropped it in 1971. A syndicated version ran several years after that however. Marlin died in 1986.*
