Congratulations.

I also knew one who never saw his first retirement check, but the vast majority are still around. My plan is to be a leech on the County for another 40 years.

Congratulations! Sounds official to me.

Head to your dr. and get some baseline bloodwork done so you can check again in a year and see how good retirement has been for you.

Surprisingly enough, I do have a physical planned for August, right around my 50th.
