Fortune Magazine's Where to Retire in Style

Just found this on the net. Seems it was written in 2006, but, if you look at the headings, it may give you some hint of where you would like to move to:

Orchidflower,
How is your search for the dreamland coming along?

I still feel I need to be near a big bustling metropolis. Unfortunately, the high living costs are a big drawback.

Good article but it made Sarasota sound like it's only for the rich and famous . They forgot to mention baseball spring training ,lots of inexpensive sidewalk cafes , art shows , great fishing and the dog track with it's fifty cent friday . Admission .50 ,beer .50 ,hotdogs .50 watching people priceless .

Walkinwood, still not definite, but a heck of alot closer. I still want to be near some bigger cities or lots of booming activity. I can't get rid of that extroverted tendency, I guess.

For most people, selling your house and moving to Boulder would represent anything but downsizing. It would be a major upsize.
