I have a Bouvier, English Sheepdog mix with uncut ears. (Never use a dog with cut ears to attract women; wrong gestalt.) Prior to him I had a pit bull. When I walked down the street with my pit bull, everyone except thugs ran. (Thugs wanted to know who the breeder was). OTOH, women and little kids love my shaggy dog. Same me, totally different dog. Once I was walking down a street in Bellevue, and three or 4 young Japanese women came running out of the hair styling place where they worked. They just wanted to hug my dog!

He is getting old, and when he goes I am taking Sheryl's advice and volunteering at the humane shelter. I like dogs, and I have always liked the woman volunteers from the shelter than I meet walking my own dog.

Re: FRIENDS

Dogs worked, but only when they were puppies.

Babies work way better, but are somewhat self limiting.

So borrow a relative or friends baby. If I take Gabe shopping, I get about 20 nice looking women coming up to me to coo in his ear and chat me up. In half an hour.

Re: FRIENDS

Art history!! That will be very interesting for you. Most cities have museums and if you carefully watch you can see amazing exhibits in NYC if you pay attention.

Also, once you learn about Art you can go to some of the greatest art centers of the world and really enjoy it. I saw the Sistine Chapel last year and I was overcome. Of course, going to Italy means most of the art is Christian but that was OK with me.

Re: FRIENDS

I carried a piece of art with me for a whole day once. Not one hit.
