Re: Getting Rid Of (Good) Stuff

Selling typewriters does not sound too exciting.

Heres another one cheryl "Thanks". Freecycled a old desk last week. I've learned the heirarchy:
Good stuff (worth some money) - Ebay
Clutter (worth a buck or 2) - garage sale
Crap - Freecycle!

TA, Last night coming home from the fireworks (and beer) I could have used that car stop thing.

Yesterday I took a truck load of "crap" to the local auction barn.
The consignment auction is held weekly and they get the most
awful pile of junk you ever saw. Even so, the auctioneer suggested
I not bother to unload several items. I don't care how much cash
the stuff generates as long as he gets rid of it. You can get some real
bargains too, if you don't mind waiting around and sifting through
a mountain of junk. It's cheap entertainment.
