I just finished a YouTube video of one of the local public courses just for fun, another hobby. I used satellite images, GoPro video and local knowledge to put it together. But I won't be able to do that once the snow starts to fly.

Now I am trying to figure out how to develop a 3D image of each golf hole like the one below, but that may not be possible with my ability and resources.
Spend most of my browsing time on THP. I am slightly biased though because I won a spot to a previous Grandaddy. Can usually find helpful reviews and lots of opportunity to win free golf stuff.

We were able to play golf in Boise last week. I played four times. Last year due to the crazy amount of snow we had March 10th was my first day out. It's 28 degrees this morning.

Here in Illinois, my goal is to play once a month. Hoping to get a round in by end of this month since I have played every month since last Feb.

Early last week wind chill was near zero. Saturday I played golf in shorts as temperature was near 70. Crazy. Today mid 50's with a wet course but plan to plan 9 with a buddy. Cabin fever getting the best of me.

Around here, we only have to worry about rain. So far, we’ve been pretty fortunate. F/C today is partly sunny & mid-50s (I know, bathing suit weather for some of you ). Playing a round with one of my regular groups.

Heading to Palm Springs next week...to avoid our “bone chilling” 50-degree weather. Looking forward to it.

He did not, but I have seen his name on the tee sheet. He is a better golfer and can whack the heck out of the ball. He plays from the next longer tees then I do.

I also haven't used a cart yet this year - trying to walk and carry again for exercise

Had good weather today (mid 50s, no wind & sunny), and I scratched out a decent round (80). But, it was one of those rounds where you know you’re not striking the ball that well, just doing well inside 100 yds. Can’t complain but, not as satisfying as when you score well because you’re striping it...if you know what I mean.

Attractive spectators today.

Playing the Hombre course in Panama City Beach tomorrow after arriving in sunny Florida today. I played it once last year but it was not pretty. Narrow with lots of water and sand. I think I was intimidated and thinking too much. Going to try the simple approach tomorrow- Hit it and pray

Who has heard of ‘Frequency Matched Clubs’ and what do you know about them?

Where did you play? I almost played Metropolitan yesterday, but it was a little cool and a little wet so i didn't play.

Played @ Peacock Gap in San Rafael. Pretty flat & a nice walk. Got lucky with the weather but, the course was a bit soggy in a few places & had some bunkers with water in the bottom. They’re still continuing the bunker refurb started last year.

PS: We have a couple guys in our group who drive over from Alameda; near Metropolitan.

I see you are from the North bay. I don't get over there much, although I played Bodega Bay about 6 months ago. I play a lot at Poppy Ridge, Monarch Bay, Metropolitan, Callippe, Diablo Creek, Paradise Valley and Rancho Solano.
