Hope All is Well for Our FLa Members...

With the storms, I sincerely hope all is well with those we know here on this forum, and of course those we do not. As we are visiting the JAX area next week, I am also curious as to the current weather from a residents perspective. Not sure you can believe CNN all of the time. They seem to concentrate on the most devestating.

Once again, keep safe.

Re: Hope All is Well for Our FLa Members...

Living in CT but bought a retirement home in Clermont (outside of Orlando/Kissimmee) in Feb. last year. Since then I've had had to worry about 5 hurricanes. Thank god I didn't buy on the coast. Worse thing that happened (s0 far) was a panel underneath the eave of my garage was blown off and I recovered it 2 months later in the neighbors yard.

It's been difficult for alot of folks down there and agree with SWR... stay safe. It's not worth your life. Let the insurance handle it.
