Every 2 weeks or so, same as when I worked. My bicycle helmet chin-strap reminds me when it is time to do so.

About 2 - 3 times a week. My facial hair is like the bristles on a wire brush, so I can't use an electric razor.

I actually use a high end disposable that has 6 razor strips on it. Never a nick or a cut. AND, I brush it backwards on my forearm about a dozen times after I use it to "resharpen" it and carefully shake it dry. A disposable cartridge lasts me about 4 - 6 months ! Which is good because man those things are expensive. But, some things are worth paying for.

The morning I got out of the Army I did not shave and have not since. Trim yes, shave no. That was in 1975.

+1 . I found myself having a bit more time lately and decided to learn to play the piano - always wanted to but never put myself to it. Well, I've finished 4 classes and have signed up for more. I really like it though it is hard. Just playing the piano and singing some lyrics make me feel so good. Currently, I only play a few very basic beginner songs and I already am happy. It must be wonderful to be able to play more difficult songs!

I have a heavy beard so it is every day with an occasional day off, like if I am sick and just staying in all day.

When I was dating, I used to do it before going out in the evening too. I keep Gillette profitable by using their Gel as well as the blades.

I get my hair cut every 6 weeks. But I will shave my neck every week.

(I have to trim the hairs on and in my nose every week. And I trim my chest hairs when they are taking over the top of t-shirts. I trim my ears and eyebrows every 2 weeks. The salt and pepper look is getting saltier every year. One eyebrow is salty and the other all pepper.)

Still working. Every other day.

Unless I have an important meeting or a job interview, then I'll make sure I'm freshly shaved.

When I was w*rking, at least in my last few years, I usually shaved every other day. Once retired, I did it when I (or more likely) DW couldn't stand it any more. A few years back, went to mustache/goatee and recently to a full beard. Not sure how long I'll stick with it as I must color some of it to look half way decent. As a younger man, I had a "rainbow" beard (brown, blond, black, red). Now, it's sort of two-tone - blond and gray.

Surprised the ladies haven't joined the discussion. DW has typically shaved more often (and more area) than I. As long as I could keep her away from my razors, we got along fine. I bought the cheap dispo-razors for both of us (by the bag) - just so I wouldn't end up with one of her used razors. I always knew when it was time to buy a new bag as my morning shave would start with a sharp tug and then a scream (mine), followed by a TP bandage. I finally switched to an electric, but had to buy her one as well. She always clogged my electric. YMMV

On average, that seems to mean 2-3 times a week, but sometimes considerably longer. DW doesn't seem to mind, so it works for me.

Ten to 15 minutes, every other day, 5-blade razor and shaving gel. I go through shave gel far faster than Mr. A. does, since he has far fewer square inches to shave! But I do love to wear shorts and sleeveless tops, plus, there's the daily gym habit to consider.

Koolau, for some reason the topic of ladies shaving their legs and underarms is "taboo," even though it seems people are not at all reluctant to express horror at the very thought of women allowing those areas to grow their natural coverings. I have read that this is all the result of a very effective advertising campaign starting in the 1920's.

Nowadays, I am reliably informed, younger ladies (and some younger men!) are expected to de-fuzz even more acreage, but I get the vapors when I think about it.

I shave every day. I am a sucker for the latest and greatest razors. Currently I'm using the Gillette Fusion Proglide Power. I've tried a few electric razors, but I've never seen one that gave a decent shave. Except, of course, for my trusty Oster A-5 that I use to clip (not groom) dogs. The Oster has the teeth marks to prove it.

I read some where that Gillette Blue Blades were made with surplus WWII warships because most WWII warships were made with virgin iron ore (no scrap). There's more steel in a Gillette Blue Blade than several Fusion razors with five very thin blades.

Leaving the blade soaking in olive oil will prevent oxidization which dulls the blade. Enables a blade to be used for 40% longer, apparently.

Daily...
Never thought too much about it until listening to the motivational speaker Zig Ziglar in 1969.... (before your time)... He said:
"Selling is just like shaving...If you don't do it every day, you're a bum."

Not sure I took anything else from his talk, but that sure made an impression on me. Now I wonder what I'd see in the mirror if I had a beard.

About boredom? Haven't had more than a few minutes of that since retiring in 1989.

Shave daily. If I let it go for 3/4 days people start mistaking me for one of those movie/TV actors. I am not up for that kind of insult.

I've had a full beard for most of the past 40 years but still need to shave my neck about every 3-4 days now that I am retired. More often if I am going to escort my wife to someplace nice. I also trim the beard every 2 weeks.

Cheers!

About two or three days apart. Always after showering. Blade seems to last longer.

In other areas I am getting to the adage of: don't do anything today that can be put off 'till tomorrow.

I'll have to try that. I've just been careful to wash/completely dry the razor, since leaving it wet will definitely shorten its life. Darn things are ridiculously expensive, and no one seems to know why. Perhaps it is the "beauty aid" effect - you know, women's beauty aids are always wildly overpriced in relation to their ingredients.

I shave and put on descent clothing before going out even if it's just the hardware store or supermarket. No point in turning the neighborhood into an eyesore.
