After deciding on my FIRE date, that last 100 days of w*rk were challenging. I had this chart and each day I marked off one square and it made me feel better. I learned this trick from my father who had a similar chart for his days left in Vietnam. His chart was a little different as instead of squares the whole thing was the shape of a busty lady.
