Re: Found perfect place in the Bahamas for John Ga

Man, Cut-throat, I think you have found my spot.
Alas, I am in the process of moving my money to Texas.
Before I settled on Texas, I was looking at Florida
and a big boat, which would have made the Bahamas
very accessible. Pretty tough to switch directions now.
Really, there is no perfect place and at my age, you
need to find a spot and settle in. I don't have the time left to keep looking. It sounds appealing though;
it surely does.

Re: Found perfect place in the Bahamas for John Ga

Wow, this place sounds great ! What's the cost of living like ? Cheap place to anchor a 30 foot sailboat ? How about roads for motorcycle riding ? Since you were there for a week, you must know everything I ask ! Just kidding, but I am curious. I was considering Costa Rica for retirement, but anything tropical and oceanfront is to be considered !

Nice post, and at least I won't be in competition with John Galt for property, something tells me he's a PITA to negotiate against, but then so am I...!!!

Hello Cut-throat.........................

Pretty disappointed you did not come up with this
idea before We are settled in on Texas now.
It's not really far enough south for a couple of
wannabee "Parrotheads", but it's familiar territory,
sooooooooo....................
