CT, I was begining to think there was somehing fishy about you silently taking credit for building those cabinets when you told everyone in your first post you contracted the carpentry! Honesty is such a burden...

Very nice work, but I wouldn't have gone with the track lighting.

The only reason the track lighting is there, is because that is where the Pool Table used to be. Now it's on the other side of the room where I installed new track lighting.

The lighting is not really used anymore. I suppose I could take it down, but I'd have to fill a 4 inch hole in the ceiling.

If you never anticipate ever using the track lighting, why not remove the light fixtures but leave the track in place?

C-T posts a photo of a completed project that anyone would love to have in their home and gets nit-picked about the track lighting?

Come on, Jay. I suppose when you see this photo you'll want to comment about the tat? (I said tat!)

Shrug. Was just asking about the need to retain a lighting fixture he never plans on using again.

Wow, very nice job CT. Have you considered recessed lighting? Considering what you have already done... DH put in several in a remodelling job he did; he said very easy to do. Then sell the track lighting on Ebay. Also how about something to break-up the expanse of wood under the speakers, like a med. sized potted plant on each side. Can be "permanent"; then you wouldn't have to water.
