Old Money is a lot better looking!

My neighbor collects uncirculated old U.S. Paper Money. They are so beautiful that I'm having a group of them framed to put in my den.

Very cool, I'm curious to know the years of those notes.

The Gold note is from the early 1920s and the others are from the 1890s

I thought you were going to show us a picture of Paris Hilton. I agree with you, that is nice looking money. Especially the Indian Native American Representative of First American Peoples.

Those are beautiful, I can see why you want to frame them for display.

Re: Old Money is a lot better looking!

I was helping my daughter with homework this week on the Sioux Indians and ran across some info on the $5 bill. The portrait is of Sioux Chief Running Antelope, but he's portrayed wearing a Pawnee tribe headdress. Created a lot of ill will between the Sioux and Pawnee tribes.

The return on old currency has been known to outperform bonds. It's an investment.
